Michael Knapp was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1978. He grew up between Dundalk and Sparrows Point, two suburbs of the cit…y, both of which he considers home. He attended University of Maryland at College Park for a Bachelor’s Degree in American Studies, based in Pop-Culture and Media with a focus on film. Having worked in some aspect of the food industry since the age of 15, and unable to work for extended months in an unpaid internship to get anywhere in film, he followed his degree from Maryland with an Associates in Culinary Arts from Stratford. He currently resides in Gaithersburg, Maryland
